Context
Instead of a message or a spreadsheet, the whole trip plan fits on one editorial page: the route, each day’s programme, the highlights, the preparation and the budget. The page had to persuade as much as organise.
Our role
A personal project: Youssef designed, wrote, built and published this page to propose a trip to Malek. It was neither commissioned nor paid for and involves no client.

About the project
Key decisions
- 01A single HTML file of about 100 KB with no framework or build step, easy to send or to host.
- 02A travel magazine direction: serif typefaces and a cream paper background.
- 03A timeline numbered in Roman numerals with country filters, so 21 days can be browsed without getting lost.
Limitations
- A personal project with no client: it shows layout work, not a commission.
- Photos come from Unsplash: several do not match the stop they illustrate and two no longer load.
- The reply button opens a blank email with no recipient and nothing is sent automatically.
- Ticked boxes stay in one browser and are not shared between the two travellers.
