Context

MCL Design, founded in Paris in March 2026, advises franchises, networks and retail brands on organising and enhancing their spaces. The site announces a platform in progress and meanwhile presents its areas of expertise and contact details.

Our role

Built by Youssef as part of his business development internship at MCL Design, for the company’s own use. He put a first holding page online on Vercel, then assembled a fuller version with Claude Design from the company’s brochure, which supplied most of its text. It is not a client commission.

About the project

Key decisions

01Publish a minimal holding page on Vercel first, with logo, tagline and contacts, then put a fuller version online on the company’s own domain.
02Keep the company’s own statement limiting its work to consulting, with no responsibility for supervising works, visible on the first screen.
03Use the design tool’s standalone export, fonts and images included, so it could simply be uploaded to the company’s host.

Limitations

This is a holding site: the platform it announces is not online to date.
The interior visuals illustrate the target sectors, do not show the company’s own work, and their origin is still to be confirmed.
The live version is a single file of about 8 MB, rendered by JavaScript after unpacking: slow to load on mobile and its text is hard for search engines to read.
On mobile, some lines of the live version are cut off at the edge of the screen.
