Context
Trottiaccessoires resells a European wholesaler’s parts and accessories for electric scooters, bikes and unicycles online, without holding stock. The supplier’s catalogue runs to thousands of items: buyers had to find the part that fits their machine quickly, and nothing could be sold unless it was available.
Our role
A shop ordered by its operator, on the strength of a first online demo. Youssef designed, built and launched the site on the client’s own domain, then connected real payment and order handling. He maintains it.

About the project
Key decisions
- 01Recheck price and stock against the catalogue on the server for every payment, since the cart kept in the browser can be altered by the buyer.
- 02Only publish items whose stock is above a safety threshold while the supplier’s stock is not synced, to reduce the risk of selling an unavailable part.
- 03Not present helmet, vest and gloves as always compulsory, as first requested, since the law only requires them in some cases or not at all.
Limitations
- The catalogue reflects a supplier export from 31 August 2026 and is not yet synced daily.
- Orders are passed to the supplier by hand, pending access to its API.
- Compatibility stops at the brand: there is no search by model and year yet.
- The legal notices depend on details the operator still has to provide.
